An easily missed tumor in cats is one that develops under their tongue. This is an aggressive tumor called squamous cell carcinoma. This tumor is often only spotted when the cat is showing obvious signs of being unwell such an being unable or unwilling to eat, drooling or the cat may develop a swelling around their lower jaw.
